GPS

We have a new gps device at Dare2Fly. It measures your distance travelled, your speed (average, maximum and current), and it even works as a compass! It's waterproof, so just put it on your arm (not as the model on the picture) and go riding!

The GPS device offers endless competition possibilities - who runs fastest between Vela and Dare2Fly, who can ride the longest distance in one day, and of course who kites the fastest. Currently the record holder is 49 km/h at Kite Beach. Get the GPS and try to break the record!

Congratulations to Alex Soto who won 1 st place in the Master of the Ocean 06, Kiteboarding Category, held at Encuentro Beach. Alex beat out Luciano and Jose Luis with a double handle pass_double kite loop_grab. Alex is sponsored by Dare2Fly, Cabrinha, UFO kiteboarder and resides in Cabarete. At 19 years old, Alex is a rising star among the young Dominican Kiteboarders. He won the 2005 Dominican Championship, and is planning to participate the PKRA World Cup in Venezuela on April 24. Buena suerte Alex! Somos todos con ti!

BOW KITE: Learning FASTER and SAFER

"Dare2fly is the only school teaching on the latest bow kites, ultimate in safety with instant total depower!"

Audrey, Dare2fly Manager & IKO head instructor

Kite flying:
Absolute and total control of the power of your kite: gradual and smooth bar pressure so you cannot lose the control of the kite! (Compare to a powerful C shape kite).

Instant total de-power:
Immediately and completely de-power the kite by releasing the bar and staying connected to the kite through the harness loop.

Re-Launching:
Water re-launch by simply pulling on the left or right back lines. The wingtip rises out of the water and position the kite into a more secure side launch position (all possible with the bridle system and without the use of a 5th line).
