KB4Girls Cabarete Chapter

Established by world champion kiteboarder Kristin Boese in December 2009, the KB4girls Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit association driven by the passion to help others and unite females around the world through the sport of kiteboarding. Striving to reach out to a broad audience of girls and women, KB4girls gives females more recognition in the world of watersports but also reaches out to those women and children in need around the world through fundraising events and other programs.

We is super stoked to be able to host the “KB4Girls Chapter Cabarete, Dominican Republic“ each 2nd Saturday of the month during 2012, at dare2fly.

So we would like to invite all ladies planning to be in Cabarete during 2012 to one of our fun events. Let’s get together and have fun with the girls kiting!!

This second event will take place on Kite Beach at the Dare2Fly kiteboarding school - hosted by legendary Cabarete athlete Audrey Meyer. It is going to be fantastic, so get ready for a really good time with the girls!

This is a FREE event open to ALL levels - from the “first-timer” who would like to learn more about kiting to aspiring pro riders wanting to improve their tricks for competition.

There are 3 group levels for our FREE clinics!

1. Advanced (jumping and above) with Audrey Meyer
2. Intermediate (kite flying to jumping)
3. Total Beginner (if you are thinking of trying it, you can learn to fly the kite)

The event schedule is:
1:30pm - Registration in front of Dare2fly and gear-rigging
2pm - FREE clinic with Dare2fly’s coaches for the 3 levels
3pm - Free-riding in pairs of girls (focused on improving your level)
4:30pm - Debrief & De-rigging
5pm - KB4girls Cocktail Party poolside at dare2fly with a free drink for all the girls.

The idea is to have fun together in our Cabarete female kiting community, improve our skills in kiting and make the Cabarete women’s kite community stronger!
